If you prefer a more low-key place, a short walk from Anfi del Mar will bring you to the pictures of a fishing village of Arguineguín (pronounced Arginnagin, with the emphasis on the last syllable).
Just because the community here is a little more laid back than in other places, doesn’t mean that you will be at a loss for things to do.
Among other available activities, there is scuba diving (including a diving school), surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, and browsing the flea and street markets.
The attraction of Arguineguín for boaters is that it has managed to combine the appeal of a small fishing port with a full range of services for pleasure craft owners.
It has ninety-three berths which can fit boats up to twenty metres long.
It’s also a departure point for ferries that can transport you to the island’s other marinas.
If you love fresh seafood, there is a fisherman’s guild that operates a simple restaurant cooking the local seafood using traditional recipes.
To embark on one of our boats for a cruise, you will need to walk the short distance to the marina at Anfi del Mar.
