with all these boats it can be overwhelming to find and charter the right boat for you and your group to rent.
At Gran Canaria Boat Trips,
we want to help you with making the right decision to and find the best boat
within your budget and top service and with the confidence you made the right choice.
So we created this helpful guide in guiding you to charter the boat you want!
Depending on your group size we can find out what boat types there are available for you and your group.
Because size matters,
we first need to know how many people is your group.
It is important that you know the exact amount of people if you are close to 8 or 12 or 35 or 90 or more.
This is because normally the capacity jumps from 8 persons to 12/13 and heres the gap, it goes directly to 35.
From there to 90 and then 140 and up to 280(max)!
so if you are 14 or 15 people , you might need a catamaran for 35pax.
or we need to throw 2 people overboard:-)
Don’t worry, as we understand that when you are 20 people, and although the capacity is 35
that you will not eat and drink for 35 people.
It is very comfortable to go with 20 people on a catamaran with space for 35 people!
And the price won’t increase much.
So now that we know how many people you and your group are,
we know what boats there are to select from.
Normally groups bigger then 40 only have catamarans at their disposals as Luxury Catamarans or Yachts are up to maximum 40 persons.
We now need to choose what kind of service we are looking for ( standard or luxury )
Normally when you charter a boat,
depending on the boat the duration is between 4 and 6 hours.
At Gran Canaria Boat Trips, we really think this is enough!
Remember when you are on the boat ,to keep the balance you are moving all the muscles in your body.
If you are also in the sun and you are swimming , doing maybe a jet ski or parasailing , you are drinking,
you will be exhausted when you come back from your boat trip.
To be able to search for dolphins and whales,
We need to find a boat that has the blue boat license, this means the boat is suitable for spotting dolphins and whales.
Theres a lot of dolphins and whales species to see in Gran Canaria.
You can find here the different species of whales and dolphins that you can see here in Gran Canaria.
In Spain its not allowed to swim with wild dolphins or whales,
We see this in Turkey and other countries, but here its not permitted.
